Self-made Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined with Vitamin A Acid Cream in the Treatment of Facial Verruca Plana

Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical effects of self-made traditional Chinese medicine combining with the vitamin A acid cream in the treatment of facial verruca plana.Method:70 patients of facial verruca plana in our hospital from January 2013 to January 2014,they were randomly divided into combining treatment group(35 cases) and single treatment group(35 cases).The combining treatment group was treated with self-made traditional Chinese medicine combined with the vitamin A acid cream,and the single treatment group was treated with the vitamin A acid cream only.Both group were treated for one month.Result:Treatment after a month,the total effective rate of the combining treatment group was 85.71%,the total effective rate of single treatment group was 51.43%,the combining treatment group total effective rate was significantly higher than that of the single treatment group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Adverse reaction rate of the combining treatment group was 8.57%presented with erythema and tickling.Adverse reaction rate of the single treatment group was 5.71%,characterized by erythema,desquamation.All of the adverse effects were not serious.Conclusion:Self-made traditional Chinese medicine combined with the vitamin A acid cream are effective for treatment of facial verruca plana without much side effects,and the method is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
