Abstract
Objective:To prevent nursing staff to blood-borne pathogens occupational exposure by using the PDCA cycle management.Method:The situation of nursing staff of hospital to blood-borne pathogens occupational exposure in 2012 was surveyed,the PDCA cycle method was used to plan,implement, inspect,dispose and continuously improve.Result:The implementation of PDCA cycle management effectively prevented nursing staff occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.The incidence rate was 7.19%in 2012,but 3.59%in 2013,the latter decreased by 50.07%year-on-year.There was a significant difference between before and after the implementation(P<0.05).Conclusion:The PDCA cycle is an effective management method to prevent nursing staff to blood-borne pathogens occupational exposure,to reduce the incidence and continuous quality improvement.关键词
