Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of intratympanic intravenous injection steroid hormones (Methyllprednisolone) for sudden sensorineural heating-loss (SSNHL) in the elderly.Method:116 elderly patients with sudden deafness admitted to our hospital from August 2011 to August 2014 were selected as research objects.According to the wishes of patients,they were divide into the intratympanic injection group for 76 cases(76 ears) and the intravenous group for 40 cases(40 ears).The intratympanic injection group was treated with intratympanic Methyllprednisolone injection,the intravenous group was treated with intravenous injection of Methyllprednisolone,other interventions consistent.The clinical effect of the two groups were observed and compared.Result:After treatment,the total efficiency of treatment in the intratympanic injection group was 68.4%,which was significantly higher than 42.5%in the intravenous group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total efficiency of sudden deafness in intratympanic injection group with systemic comorbid disease was 80.0%,which was significantly higher than 41.7%in the intravenous group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total efficiency of sudden deafness in intratympanic injection group without comorbid diseases was 76.1%,which was significantly higher than 42.9% in the intravenous group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effect of intratympanic injection of steroid hormones in the treatment of sudden deafness is better,especially for diabetes,cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease in elderly patients with sudden deafness,can reduce systemic drug adverse reactions,is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
