Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the safety and clinical efficacy of transcatheter preventive uterine artery embolization(UAE) in the treatment of intractable PPH with central placenta previa during cesarean section.Method:132 cases of maternal with central placenta previa from January 2009 to December 2014 in our hospital were included in this retrospective study,which were divided into two groups according to different surgical approach,the observation group was given uterine artery embolization and the control group was given traditional surgical approach,the safeness and effectiveness of surgical were analyzed. Result:Preventive UAE successfully controlled PPH associated with central placenta previa,the blood loss and the blood transfusion in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,the differences between two groups had statistical significances(P<0.05).No patients underwent hysterectomy in the observation group,two patients in the control group.Conclusion:Preventive uterine artery embolization before cesarean delivery appears to be a safe and effective means by which to control intractable PPH associated with central placenta previa,there is no hysterectomy.It can reduce the injury and reserve the procreation of precursor.Normal menstrual cycles are restored in all patients,and it has a high feasibility and is worthy of promotion.关键词
