摘要

Abstract

LG-730 cold pilger rolling mill is the largest two-roll servo-controlled rolling mill,and the housing assembly FEM analysis model of which is developed in this paper,and then the deformation and stress distribu-tion of the saddle is analyzed under the maximum rolling force.On the base of the previous work,the saddle structure optimization is done:the width of the saddle base is reduced 10 mm,the thickness of the rib of the saddle is reduced from 120 mm to 100 mm,and the thickness of the whole saddle of reduced 20 mm.The results show that the weight of the saddle is reduced,and the stiffness also the strength of the saddle are less affected,so the calculated results have the important advising meaning for the LG-730's structure design.
