Optimization Design of a Stator Yokeless and Modular Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Machine
摘要
Abstract
An optimization design method of the axial flux permanent magnet machine ( AFPM) was presented, which is widely used in electrical vehicles and other fields. Using the basic equations and choosing power density, efficiency and active cost as the objective function for the optimization, parameters of the axial flux permanent magnet machine were designed with considering the actual performance characteristics. On this basis, a 1. 5 kW double rotor stator yokeless and modular axial flux permanent magnet machine was designed. Significant reductions of cogging torque are achieved by involving magnet shifting and the finite element analysis ( FEA) verifies the effectiveness of the optimization design method.关键词
