摘要

Abstract

Flywheel energy storage system ( FESS) is a system which converts electrical energy and mechanical energy, it qualifies the features of short construction cycle, long service life and pollution-free. FESS has been used in the field of new energy, electric mobile and UPS. After introducing the composition and principle of FESS, summarized the control strategy, character and applicable situation of charging and discharging mode, providing a reference for the studying and engineering application of FESS.
