摘要

Abstract

MOOC, being the abbreviated form of “massive open online course”, is a new teaching model which has being developed rapidly recently. There are some characteristics on MOOC, such as scalability, openness, interactivity, internationalization and autonomy. At the same time, as a new teaching model, MOOC is facing some problems, such quality of teaching, low completion rate, credits and degrees, and intellectual property. Higher education in China should develop MOOCs actively, attempt to implement “inverted classroom” to reform the model of teaching, and promote the development of lifelong education and the establishment of learning society
