Abstract
Listening comprehension is one of the most difficult parts in learning English for students in Higher Vocational Colleges, most students do well in simple sentences, while for longer conversations or passages, students will flinch. Therefore, the traditional listening teaching method should be improved. Discourse analysis is introduced, in order to apply cohesion, coherence and discourse structure into the teaching of English listening. In this way, students will understand the whole listening materials.关键词
