摘要
Abstract
In this study,the effects of Tangningtongluo capsule(TNTL)on hyperglycemia and diabetic retinopathy and nephropathy in db /db mice were evaluated.Db /db mice(n =50)were randomly assigned to 5 groups,i.e.,the model group,the metformin(0.14 g·kg -1 )group,the high dose TNTL(1.8 g·kg -1 ),the middle dose TNTL(0.9 g·kg -1 )and the low dose TNTL(0.45 g·kg -1 ).The wide-type littermates were used for the control mice.Metformin and TNTL were freshly prepared and intragastric administration daily for 20 weeks.Themice in control group and model group were given the same amount of saline.TNTL significantly decreased fasting glucose and HbA1c,improved oral glucose tolerance,significantly reduced microaneurysm,decreased the levels of urine protein,BUN and CRE.In conclusion,TNTL exerted a strong hypoglycemic effect and had preventiveeffects on diabetic retinopathy and nephropathy in db /db mice.关键词
