Abstract
The Shima River Basin suffered an extreme heavy rainstorm on May 11, 2014, which caused a flood in the basin of Shima River.The rainstorm flood and reasons for the flood have been analyzed .The results show that the “2014.05.11” heavy rainstorm had high rainfall intensity and concentrated spatial and temporal distribution , and the flood was dually composed by interval flood within Dongguan and Guanlan water from Shenzhen .Heavy rainfall , urban construction within the basin and backward water conservancy infrastructure construction of Shima River in Dongguan are major reasons for the flood .关键词
