摘要

Abstract

The ultrasonic vibration assisted grinding(UAG)experiments were carried out on the hole of 3Cr13 martensitic stainless steel with CBN abrasive tools.The purpose of the experiment was to explore the effect of UAG on surface roughness.The surface morphology of the hole of stainless steel were detected using the three-dimensional video microscope. Single particle trajectories and the influencing factors on surface roughness were analyzed.The result indicated that the groove on the hole of stainless steel was sine curve with cross-cutting.The maximum undeformed chip thickness of UAG was smaller than that of common grinding when the other processing parameters remained unchanged. The surface roughness of surface ground with ultrasonic vibration was smoother than that of common ground surface.
