Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of Fuzheng Huayu capsule treating liver fibrosis due to Asiatic schistosomiasis and explore its clinical applicability. Methods From May 2012 to May 2013,80 patients with liver fibrosis due to Asiatic schistosomiasis treated in our station were selected and evenly divided into experimental group and control group in random.In control group,patients were treated by conventional basic treatment,while in experimental group,Fuzheng Huayu capsule was added.The liver function indexes including ALT,AST,TBiL,Alb,and Glb, liver fibrosis indexes like HA,PC-Ⅲ,Ⅳ-C and LN,transforming growth factor (TGF-β1) in liver tissue before and after treatment, and adverse reaction after medication in two groups were observed. Results There was no statistical difference of liver function indexes,liver fibrosis indexes,or TGF-β1 level after comparison between two groups before treatment (P>0.05).After therapy,these above-mentioned indexes were greatly improved and the improvement in experimental group was superior to that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of Fuzheng Huayu capsule treating liver fibrosis due to Asiatic schistosomiasis is remarkable,and can obviously improve liver function,and it is safe and reliable,which is applicable for long-term clinical application.关键词
