摘要

Abstract

Using the data collected by Yichun TWP3 wind profile radar in 2013 , we calculated the low-level wind shear for 8 different layesrs under 600 m. There are 95% low-level wind shear below mild level and 2% ~4% above medium level which affects the aviation safety. The probability of higher level wind shear increases with the hight,which can causes more then 100 serious wind shears above 300 m all the year. The serious level wind shear appears more in March to May because of the thunderstorm weather. We also find out that strong wind shear is associated with weather situation of low trough,low-rise shear,southwest jet stream,surface cold air and tropical cyclone system. The low-level wind shear appears with the southwest jet stream growing caused by the downlink of momen-tum. If there is thunderstorm weather,the tropical cyclone system always causes strong low-level wind shear along with the precipetation. Under the inffluece of surface cold air,low-level wind shear ap-pears in the frontal of warm and cold air,and reduces quickly after the precipetation.
