Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical characteristics of infectious mononucleosis(IM ) associated with Epstein‐Barr virus(EBV) infection in children .Methods 83 children in the hospital with EBV‐IM were collected from Jan 2012 to Dec 2013 in Sichuan Provincial People′s Hospital .All patients were divided into 4 groups as <1 years old group ,1-3 years old group ,3-7 years old group and 7-14 years old group .The clinical symptoms ,signs , laboratory examinations and the incidence of complications between 4 groups were collected and compared .Results In the 83 patients ,57 were boys and 26 were girls .Fever ,lymphadenopathy and pharyngitis were main manifestations of the children with IM ,their incidence were 83 .33% ,41 .18% and 80 .00% respectively .Incidence of splenomegaly , hepatomegaly were 18 .63% and 21 .57% respectively .The common complications of 4 group were pneumonia ,hepat‐ic lesion ,myocardial damage ,thrombocytopenia and neutrocytopenia .The incidence of hepatic lesion in group 3‐7 year‐old was higher than other group .Conclusion Clinical symptoms ,signs ,laboratory examinations and complica‐tions of patients with IM varied in different age groups .The preschool children usually had high incidence of hepato‐splenomegaly ,higher liver enzyme and hepatic lesion .关键词
