Abstract

To meet the requirement for nutrition information detection of tomato cultivated in protected agriculture , a method for rapid detection of tomato nitrogen content based on multibarrel ion selective microelectrode was proposed .The preparation process of drawn , silanization , sensitive agent filling , and calibration of multibarrel ion selective microelec-trode were discussed in detail .Through test and analysis of the present sensitive formulation of NO 3-and NH4+, the NO3-and NH4+sensitive membranes which are suitable for multibarrel ion selective microelectrode were screened .In comparison with the nitrogen content detected by AA 3 continuous flow analyzer , the absolute error and the relative error for the nitrogen content of the tomato leaf sample are 1 .03 mg/g and 3 .96%, respectively , through the test of tomato leaf sample by multibarrel ion selective microelectrode .The experimental results showed that:it is feasible to detect the nitro-gen content of tomato leaf by the multibarrel NO 3-ion and NH4+ion selective microelectrode .Besides, this study can provide a reference for detection of the content of potassium and calcium etc .of crops.
