Thermodynamic Analysis of Sintering Flue Gas Dry Desulfurization by Low Grade Pyrolusite

Abstract
The function relationship between ΔG (Gibbs free energy ) and T (thermodynamic temperature) is obtained by calculating ΔG ,K (equilibrium constant ) ,SO2 partial pressure at equilibrium state of desulphurization reactions by low grade pyrolusite from sintering flue gas .The possibility of dry desulfurization from sintering flue gas using low grade pyrolusite is analyzed further . The relationship between p(SO2 ) and p(O2 ) of all reactions in Mn‐S‐O system are deduced and phase diagram of Mn‐O‐S is drawed based on ΔG at different temperature and the expression of equilibrium constant .T he results indicate that at the range of sintering flue gas temperature ,removal of SO2 using directly low grade pyrolusite has a greatly thermodynamic feasibility ,and temperature and total pressure have weak influences on the stable region of MnSO4 .关键词
