摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the anti-cancer effects of pseudomonas aeruginosa for pancreatic cancer cells and the mechanism. Methods CCK8 method was used to detect cell proliferation rate after pancreatic cancer cells were treated with pseudomonas aeruginosa. The cell ultrastructure were observed with transmission electron microscope. The apoptosis and cycle of cell was detected with Annexin Ⅴ/PI flow cytometry after treatment of pancreatic cancer by pseu-domonas aeruginosa with different concentrations. The expression of several proteins associated with epidermal growth fac-tor receptor (EGFR) signaling pathway was detected using Western blot. Results It was observed that pseudomonas aerugi-nosa significantly inhibited the proliferation of pancreatic cancer cells and the changes of apoptotic morphology were found. After treating with pseudomonas aeruginosa, the apoptosis of tumor cells increased significantly and the tumor cell cycle arrest was induced and the expression of EGFR signaling pathway-associated phosphorylated proteins of tumor cells decreased significantly. Conclusions Pseudomonas aeruginosa induces apoptosis of pancreatic cancer cells combined with cell cycle arrest and inhibits tumor growth. Inhibition of EGFR pathway might be an important mechanism in inducing apoptosis of pancreatic cancer cells.
