摘要

Abstract

Microstrip 90°hybrid ring with three branches,which has wider operating band,is analyzed through even and odd mode method based on normal double⁃branch bridge,and the formula of each branch's characteristic impedance with hybrid ring 3 dB couplingis derived.The final 90°hybrid ring circuit,which can operate within the whole Ku⁃band(12~18 GHz),is simulated and optimized by using 3D electromagnetic simulation software HFSS.A broadband power combining amplifier,which has more than 35 W saturated output power covering 13~17 GHz,is designed by using two power MMICs and the final 90°hybrid ring circuits backtoback.
