摘要

Abstract

The estimation of air flow resistance and fan selection under air flow resistance are studied in the paper.The method of air flow resistance estimation and P⁃Q curve based on rectangular heat sink are described,and the influence of fan P⁃Q curve and fan operating point to the heat elimination of heat sink is introduced.A method of fan selection under air flow resistance is proposed.With a heat sink as example,the air flow resistance is calculated and the suitable fan for the sink is selected. An advanced thermal modeling software ICEPAK is used for simulation.The result proves that this method is reasonable and feasible.
