Abstract
Waiting for Godot,as a classic,has been explained naturally in different ways. However,the author tries to expound it from the perspective of semeiology. Mainly through the analysis on the authenticity of the messaging boy' words,two waiting "symbols"-Ge Ge and Di Di,as well as null symbol Geduo,the author has explored the double significances of "Waiting" in the play,and the fuzziness and uncertainty of Godot 's status,and then concluded that the whole society was in a confused disorder because of God's death,and thus resulted in the spiritual emptiness and blindness of present people.关键词
