Synthesis and properties of amide containing anionic silicone surfactants

Abstract
The aminopropyl trisiloxane was obtained from hexamethyldisiloxane and γ- aminopropyl meth-yl diethoxy silane as raw materials, and the tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide · pentahydrate as catalyst. The acylating agent succinic anhydride were reacted with 3- aminopropyl trisiloxane to obtain 4- oxo- (trisiloxane propylamino)- 2- succinate. The optimum reaction conditions were as fol ows: raw material mole ratio was 1.0:1.1, the raw material reacted at ice- cooling temperature for 2 h, then the mixture reacted at room tempera-ture for 2 h, the final product was obtained from 4- oxo- (trisiloxane propylamino)- 2- succinate and sodium bi-carbonate. The product structure and surface property was characterized by 1H- NMR and IR. The critical mi-cel e concentration (cmc) of the target products was 1.99×10- 3 mol/L. The surface tension (γcmc) was 29.4 mN/m. The new products had good softness for the fabric.关键词
