Study of the Effect of 3M Iodine Operation Film on Operative Incision of Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty

Abstract
Objective To investigate the protection of 3M iodine operation film on operative incision of total hip and knee arthroplasty in order to find the new preventive method of surgical site infection in total hip and knee arthroplasty. Methods 80 cases of patients conducted total hip and knee arthroplasty in our hospital from April 2012 to December 2013. They were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The common surgical film were pasted on the incision of patients in control group, while the iodine antimicrobial surgical film were pasted on the incision of patients in observation group. The bacterial culture result and prognosis quality of patients of two groups after samples from incision col ected for bacterial culture were compared. Results The positive rate of bacteria culture of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group ( <0.01). The degree of wound healing of observation group was significantly bet er than that of control group ( <0.01). The hospitalization time and the wound healing time were significantly shorter than that of control group ( <0.01). After operation, the state and function of knee joint of both groups improved significantly ( <0.05), while they of observation group were significantly bet er than that of control group ( <0.05). After operation, the degree of both groups reduced obviously ( <0.05), but it of observation group was significantly weaker than that of control group ( <0.05). Conclusion There was a protective ef ect on total hip and knee arthroplast by 3M iodine containing antimicrobial surgical film , it can reduce the rate of surgical site infection significantly.关键词
