Abstract
Structure strength of urban power network can be described as the ability to keep whole system stable under various disturbances, which belongs to the category of generalized power system security. Based on the analysis of similarities and differences between structure strength assessment and the existing power grid security assessment method, a new set of assessment index system and method for structure strength of urban power network was proposed. Through taking the macro and micro characteristic of system structure into full account, the topology index cluster and operation index cluster were defined in the index system. Besides, the application of coefficient of variance (C.V) to judge the index distribution uniformity is critical to realize the comprehensive evaluation of the whole structure strength in urban power networks. By analysis of urban power networks in East China as an example, the proposed method is proved to be effective and feasible, which can be considered as a new angle to the power system security assessment of urban city.关键词
