Abstract
Drought disasters occur frequently in Liaoning province, which had brought serious negative impacts on both public and private properties. In order to reduce drought situations, drought monitoring system is developed using a series of advanced technologies such as data base, 3S( GIS、GPS、RS ),cartography, network, and transmission. The system is synchronously constructed, and the hardware and software include various functions such as drought data col ection, transmission, storage, analysis, early warning , evaluation, decision support, and application of mobile phone to delivery drought message to individuals. It wil be remarkable to economic, ecological and social benefits after wide application the system to drought mitigation.关键词
