Abstract
Objective:To improve the understanding and diagnosis of clinician for Percheron artery infarction.Methods:15 patients with Percheron artery infarction were selected,and the clinical data were retrospectively analyzed.Results:The clinical manifestations were consciousness disorder,memory disorder with disorientation,thalamic aphasia,ocular paralysis.Brain MR showed bilateral thalamic infarction foci,4 cases had midbrain "V sign".Embolism was the main pathogenesis.After 3 months of follow-up,3 cases recovered completely,2 cases died,2 cases still were unconscious,neurological deficits of others were left. Conclusion:The main manifestations of Percheron artery infarction were disturbance of consciousness,vertical gaze palsy,thalamic aphasia,memory defects and so on.The cerebral CT/MRI examination indicated that bilateral thalamus had infarction with or without cerebral infarction.Brain MRI with "V sign" had important significance for the Percheron artery syndrome.The disease was treated mainly according to the treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease,and the prognosis was poor.关键词
