Abstract
Objective To explore the effectiveness of Quality Control Circle on reducing the frequency of ventilator alarm . Methods Each step of QCC were carried out strictly ,and according to causes of the high frequency ventilator alarm ,corre‐sponding counter measures were strictly implemented .Results Before and after QCC the main types of high ventilator alarm were high airway pressure ,high respiratory rate and tidal volume inspiratory overrun .The main causes of alarm were excessive respiratory secretions ,patient uncomfortable and respiratory system leak ,there was a significant statistical difference on fre‐quency of ventilator alarm before and after QCC (P<0.01) .Conclusion Frequency of ventilator alarm can be reduced by QCC , but causes of ventilator alarms cannot be changed significantly by QCC .关键词
