美容切口及胸锁乳突肌瓣在腮腺良性肿瘤切除术中的应用∗
Application of esthetic incision and sternocleidomastoid muscle flap in benign parotid gland tumor surgery

Abstract
Objective To investigate the application of esthetic incision and sternocleidomastoid muscle flap in parotid benign tumor resection. Methods A total of 43 patients with parotid benign tumor were divided into 2 groups. 23 cases ( esthetic group) were treated with esthetic incision and sternocleidomastoid muscle flap. 20 ( conventional surgical group ) were treated with modified Blair incision. All parients were followed up in 1 to 5 years ( mean 3. 5 years) . The incidence of complications and prognosis of these two treatment options were compared. Results There were significant differences in local introcession deformity (χ2 =7. 41, P=0. 007) , Frey”s syndrome (χ2 =4. 64, P=0. 023) and temporary facial paralysis (χ2 =4. 89, P=0. 034) between the 2 groups ( P<0. 05) . There were no significant differences in parotid gland fistula (χ2 =0. 22, P=0. 468) and earlobe mumbness (χ2 =0. 48, P=0. 536) between the 2 groups ( P>0. 05) . Conclusion Esthetic incision and sternocleidomastoid muscle flap are feasible and safe for treatment of benign parotid tumors. Esthetic incision has better cosmetic outcome with less increase of postoperative complications when compared with conventional surgical approach.关键词
