低强度激光治疗颞下颌关节疼痛的临床专科护理∗
Effect of specialty care on the low-level laser therapy for the patients with temporomandibular joint pain

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of temporomandibular joint ( TMJ) specialty care on the low-level Ga-Al-As laser therapy for the patients with TMJ pain in a random and double-blind research design. Methods A total of 144 patients were randomly divided into four groups. Patients in Group 1 received laser therapy combined with specialty care. Group 2 accepted simple laser therapy only. Group 3 had specialty care and sham laser as placebo and controlled group received sham laser as without specialty care. All the patients treated for 10 days. Results Compared with the other three groups, Laser treatment combined with specialty care group showed significant better improvement on mandib-ular function ( P<0. 001) and pain intensity ( P<0. 001) after treatment. Simple laser treatment can also relief pain in-tensity ( P<0. 001) and increase the vertical movement ( P<0. 001) , but no significant differences ( P=0. 083) on hori-zon mandibular movement. Simple specialty care can improve the mandibular movement and relief pain intensity ( P<0. 001) . Conclusion Specialty care on TMJ is worthy for promoting in clinical application as itshows a significant im-provement in clinical signs and symptoms of TMJ pain.关键词
