Impact of LK program massage combined with free body position in first stage of labor to await delivery on childbirth outcome

Abstract
Objective To explore the impact of LK program massage combined with free body position in first stage of labor to await delivery on childbirth outcome. Methods Clinical data of 120 predelivery primiparas treated in our hos-pital from May 2014 to January 2015 were analyzed retrospectively and they were diveded into two groups according to different expectant way,and there were 60 cases in each group.Primiparas in control group were given routine body po-sition to await delivery,while primiparas in observation group were given LK program massage combined with free body position to await delivery.Childbirth outcome between two groups was observed and compared respectively. Results The time of total stage of labor in primiparas of observation group [(8.20±3.69) h] was significantly shorter than that of con-trol group [(11.20±3.71)] h,and the rate of vaginal delivery in observation group (96.67%) was significantly higher than that of control group (83.33%) (P<0.05).The incidence rate of mild pain in observation group was significantly higher than of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion LK program massage combined with free body position in first stage of la-bor is helpful to alleviate intrapartum pain and can enhance the comfort of primiparas in stage of labor and shorten stage labour.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.关键词
