On Spatial Characteristic and Its Picturesque Staging Meaning of Ancestral Temple Clusters in Zhiying Ancient Town
摘要
Abstract
Ancestral temple is the material carrier of patriarchal clan system as the important part of Chinese traditional settlemet. Since the Tang dynasty, Zhiying’s ancestral temple clusters have been founded for centuries and turns to be rare for its number, density and integrity. The spatial characteristic and its picturesque staging meaning of ancestral temple clusters is explored through the study on their relationships between each other and the environments. It provides important clues and basis for study on conservation and renovation for ancient towns.关键词
