Abstract
In view of the high capacity and high speed requirements of transient data transmission of RTDS simulation system, a new high speed communication method based on field programmable logic array ( FPGA) technology is developed. By this method, the da-ta communication system between master station and RTDS is developed, which can perform high precision and high speed sampling in microsecond then, the real-time transient data of RTDS at microsecond level can be collected and stored in the master station's data-base for real-time delivery or replay analysis. The built-in high-speed communication protocol Aurora in GTFPGA card is adopted to develop a communication module to communicate among RTDS simulator, GTFPGA card and feature display system of power grid. The module transfers RTDS real-time data by network WinPcap to realize the display and replay of the transient data. Taking optical fi-ber as transmission medium and high-performance FPGA as data collection system, this module shows a good generality and populari-zation.关键词
