Abstract
To discover the characteristic research direction of different countries ( regions) in a particular subject area, as well as national ( regional) competitive advantages in different discipline, we proposed the national superiority disciplines judgment matrix. The matrix consists of two dimensions, the keyword activity index ( KAI) and the keyword influence index ( KII) . In the empirical analysis, the au-thor keywords were extracted from communication research literature upon 12 countries. We revealed the different competitive communica-tion research direction of the United States, the UK, the Netherlands, China and other countries in the study, as well as the countryˊs com-petitiveness on the different direction of the communication. The results show that the judgment matrix can better assess the competitive performance of countries in the field of communication direction and reveal national discipline competitiveness in more detail.关键词
