Abstract
Objective:To study the hope level and quality of life of type 2 diabetic inpatients,and analyze the rela-tionship between them.Methods:A total of 340 cases of type 2 diabetic inpatients were investigated with the Herth Hope Index and Diabetes Special Quality of Life Scale.Results:The hope level of type 2 diabetic inpatients was at medium to high level,and the quality of life of them was at medium level.Hope level was negatively related to the scores of patients’psychological/mental function,treatment and overall quality of life (r 1 =-0.281,r 2 =-0.231, r 3 =-0.246,P <0.05 or P <0.01 ).Conclusion:The hope level of type 2 diabetic patients is higher,and the quality of life of them is at a medium level.The hope level is closely related to the quality of life of patients. Nursing personnel should pay attention to the influence of hope level on the quality of life of diabetic patients.关键词
