Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of 6 patterns of two-layer electrode displacement on the image quality of the three-dimensional electrical impedance tomography system is the key factor of imaging quality.Methods With adoption of simulation modeling and image reconstruction, a compare study on the boundary voltages of six patterns of uniform ifelds was carried out under the mode of two-layer quasi-bi-directional stimulation and one-layer adjacent measurement. The conjugate gradient least squares algorithm was adopted to reconstruct the images of two objects with the same conductivity in the ifeld, and two performance indexes were used to evaluate the images, including the relative errors and correlative coefifcients.Results Compare results of both the images and the performance indexes showed the superiority of the W pattern in the best image quality among six patterns, namely the horizontally-staggered displacement of the two-layer electrodes. Electrode displacement could inlfuence the uniformity of current density inside the field. Application of W pattern made the current density more uniform, which resulted in enhanced intensity of the sensitive ifeld inside the objects and improved quality of reconstructed images.Conclusion The W pattern demonstrated its superiority of performance indexes and image quality over other patterns.关键词
