Progress in the Treatment of Sepsis Complicated With Adrenal Insufficiency or Relative Adrenal Insufficiency by Glucocorticoids

Abstract
Adrenal insufficiency is a common complication in patients with sepsis in recent years of Beijing PLA, andrelative adrenal insufficiency may also occur.It may lead to the reduction of plasma cortisol level and high mortality in patients.But in the researches of recent years, there is a lack of deeper understanding about adrenal insufficiency, and there is no unified diagnostic criterion.This paper introduced the epidemiology, pathogenesis, main diagnostic criteria and treatment intervention of sepsis complicated with adrenal insufficiency.It was indicated that glucocorticoids could improve prognosis by raising the plasma cortisol level in patients with sepsis complicated with AI/RAI.关键词
