Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of Minocycline Hydrochloride Ointment and Metronidazole Membrane in the treatment of periodontal abscess.Method:64 cases with periodontal abscess were randomly selected in our hospital from February 2013 to August 2014.According to the treatment method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group.The control group was treated with Metronidazole Membrane,while the observation group was applied Minocycline Hydrochloride Ointment,the clinical treatment effect and the gingival index,plaque index,depth of periodontal pocket in the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the patients in the observation group was 93.8%,it was significantly higher than 71.9%of the control group, there was significant difference(P<0.05),gingival index,plaque index,periodontal pocket depth and other indicators in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effect of Minocycline Hydrochloride Ointment in the treatment of periodontal abscess is obviously better than that of Metronidazole Membrane,can promote good prognosis,so it is worth the clinical promotion.关键词
