Kinetics of TOC in Landfill Leachate by Fenton Process

Abstract
The reaction rate constants, stimulated by the modified first-order kinetic model on treatment of landfill leachate by Fenton process, of different influencing factors such as initial pH, initial hydrogen peroxide concentration, [ H2 O2 ]/[ Fe2+] molar ratio, temperature and initial concentration were discussed. The optimization of Fenton, while the best TOC removal was 70. 3%, was at initial pH at 3, [H2O2]/[TOC0] at 4, [H2O2]/[Fe2+] at 5 and room temperature by simultaneous consideration of economic, kinetic constant and TOC removal efficiency of leachate.关键词
