摘要

Abstract

“The kidney tends to suffer from dryness,which can be moistened by pungent flavor”comes from Discussion on the Association of the Visceral Qi with the Four Seasons of Plain Questions.In the au-thor’s view,“the dryness of kidney”is the pathological condition which is caused by the deficiency of kidney yang,failing in transformation of qi,so the fluid in the body cannot be generated and transported normally.The pungent flavor can contribute to the running of qi and opening the barrier of the skin,so that it can scatter enough water to moisten the dryness due to poor running of qi and body fluid natural transportation obstacle.
