Abstract
In the Tang and Song dynasties, the medicinal material industry of Wanjiang region was developing rapidly. During this period, with varieties, good quality and wide distribution, the medicinal materials in Wanjiang area has became an important area for paying tribute to the court. In addition to collecting the wild medicinal material resources, Wanjiang area also developed the artificial cultivation technology of medicinal herbs , making up the defect of the wild medicinal resources. Due to the variety,good quality and wide distribution, Wanjiang region was becoming the specialized region for medicinal resources, and the degree of commercialization of medicinal material was obviously improved, which makes it the important industry promoting the social and economic development of Wanjiang region..关键词
