Abstract
A Passage to India is one of E. M. Forster’s representative works. It has profound cultural connotation and aesthet-ics, so it has been paid widespread attention at home and abroad. Most of them analyze the text from three aspects—themes, artistic features and characters. Through racial opposition, gender opposition and religious opposition, the paper analyzes the connection between personal relationships, national relations and religious problems from these binary oppositions. Therefore, it affirms its literary value and social significance.关键词
