Abstract

The different needs for reliability from customers and customer interaction are important factors for the future smart distribution network to take into consideration.The impact of customer classification and interaction on total supply capability (TSC) is studied,and a model of TSC considering classification and interaction is proposed.First of all,the relationship between different classes as well as different interaction types of customers and TSC are analyzed,respectively.Then a customer-response model is developed,and according to the traditional feeders-interconnection-based TSC model,a TSC model is developed to consider customer classification and interaction.Finally,two cases in different scenarios are computed and analyzed.The results show that the third class customers who have signed interruptible load or emergency demand response agreement can affect the value of TSC when participating in the interactive load reduction under N -1 operation mode,and the value of TSC would increase with an increase of the customers” interactive load reduction,until the grid total capacity limit is reached.The method in this paper can calculate TSC considering customer classification and interaction,laying a foundation for future distribution network to bring TSC into play in customer interactive conditions.
