Strain sensing of steel bar by thin film of carbon black reinforced epoxy-matrix composite attached
摘要
Abstract
A thin film of carbon black reinforced epoxy-matrix composite attached to a steel bar is used to sense its strain .Results under tension show that the fractional change in electrical resistance of the composite varies monotonically with bar strain .In the elastic regime , the fractional change in resistance increases linear-ly upon loading and decreases linearly upon unloading .When the bar yielding , the fractional change in resist-ance increases sharply with strain .A mathematical relation between the fractional change in resistance and strain is derived .关键词
