18F-FDG PET/CT在非小细胞肺癌纵隔淋巴结转移的诊断价值
Role of 18F-FDG PET/CT in the evaluation of mediastinal lymph node metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer

Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the value of positron emission tomographic-computed tomographic (PET/CT) scan in the diagnosis of mediastinal lymph node metastasis in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: The 18F-FDG PET/CT examinations of patients who were suspicious of lung cancer from department of respiratory and thoracic surgery in our hospital were performed during May 2013 to Jan 2015. All patients underwent radical surgery and mediastinal lymph node dissection within one week after the 18F-FDG PET/CT scan. Eighty-two patients were finally confirmed to have NSCLC with the histopathological and immunocytochemcal results as the reference standard. The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity, accuracy of positive and negative predictive values of 18F-FDG PET/CT were all analyzed. Results Mediastinal lymph nodes were histologically confirmed in 36 of 82 patients. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, accuracy of positive and negative predictive values of 18F-FDG PET/CT for identifying mediastinal lymph nodes involvement were 72.22%, 84.78%,79.27%,78.79%and 79.59%, respectively. Conclusion 18F-FDG PET/CT may be useful to assess mediastinal lymph node metastasis in NSCLC patients.关键词
