Abstract
Objective To establish and evaluate a modified athesclerotic plaque model in rabbits. Methods:Forty eight rabbits were randomly divided into four groups: Normal food group (No.12) : feeding with normal food 50 g/Kg for 10 weeks;High-fat group (No.12) : after 2 weeks of ordinary food for adaptatian, high-fat food 50 g/Kg for 8 weeks, then sacrificed. Traditional plague group (No.12) after ordinary food for adaptation 2 weeks,under direct vision,the left common carotid artery,was isolated,balloon injury and ligation were performed, after operation, feeding for 8 weeks then sacrified. Modified plaque model group (No.12): ordinary feeding 2 weeks,under the direct vision isolated the left common carotid artery, performed balloon injury,and then using 7-0 silk thread to suture the crevasse. feeding 8 weeks then sacrificed Blood lipid, the carotid artery diameter and morphological change were observed before and after the experiment. Results Compared with normal food group,hyperlipidemia were formed in the rest three groups. Angiography confrmed the success of the establisment of the modified model. Thickness of the intima was more obvious in improved group than in the traditional group,and the film thickness of tunica media was obviously thinner. Conclusion Compared with traditional building method,the improved method can form more obvious atherosclerotic plaque without damage to blood flow.关键词
