糖尿病患者甲状腺结节患病率的临床分析

Abstract
Objective:To discuss the prevalence and influential factors of thyroid nodules in type2 diabetes mellitus ( T2DM ) pa-tients.Methods:Three hundred and twenty patients with T2DM hospitalized in the specific hospital in Tianjin during May 2011 to April 2014 were enrolled.Analysis was carried upon their color ultrasound results of thyroid glands, meanwhile the prevalence of thyroid nodules were observed among patients of different genders, ages, duration of diabetes and HbA1c levels.Results:The prevalence of thyroid nod-ules in Three hundred and twenty patients with T2DM patients was 53.75%.The rate of male patients was lower than that of female ones with statistical significance(X2 =6.532 ,P=0.011).The prevalence of thyroid nodules was elevated with the age growth, duration growth and the increasing of glycosylated hemoglobin level.Conclusion:The prevalence of thyroid nodules in type 2 diabetes mellitus pa-tients was higher than normal .Gender, age, duration of diabetes and HbA1c level have different influence upon the prevalence of thyroid nodules.As a consequence, it should be essential to perform screen for thyroid nodules in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients clinically.关键词
