摘要

Abstract

To study the effects of nitrogen in MS medium on neem(Azadirachta indica A. Juss)tissue culture,we deter-mined the biomass,soluble protein content,azadirachtin and limonoid contents of neem callus and suspension cells in the end of their cultures by changing the ratio between nitrate and ammonium. The results indicate,that while culturing callus, the four measurement indicators reached the maximum accumulation when the ratio of nitrate to ammonium was 4:1;while culturing suspension cells,the soluble protein contain,azadirachtin and limonoids contains got their maximum whenthe ratio of nitrate to ammonium was 3:1,but the maximum biomass was obtained when the ratio was 2:1. In conclusion,the ratio between nitrate and ammonium in the MS medium should be corresponded with the objects being cultured at different peri-ods.Only in this way,can we get the best target cultures.
