Study on Outline of Aeration Facility at Outlet of Abrupt Enlargement and Drop Section of Radial Gate

摘要

Abstract

Based on the physical model experiment , outline and its impact factors of the aeration facility at the outlet of the abrupt en-largement and drop section of the radial gate are studied in detail.The experiment presents that the complex flow pattern is formed by the aeration facility of abrupt enlargement and drop.The dispersed flow upward forms water wing.After it returns on the normal water sur-face, the impact wave at its downstream is again caused.The dispersed flow downward forms water curtain, increasing the return flow at the bottom cavity.The length of the bottom cavity forms positive phase relations with drop, flip height and downstream chute gradient. But the steeper the chute is, the severer the water wing in the downstream chute is.The length of the lateral cavity is in positive phase re-lation with the lateral expansion width.But this is in opposite phase relation with the degree of the water wing in the downstream chute.
