Clinical Efficacy Comparison of Modified Miccoli Operation and Traditional Operation

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical ef icacy of modified Miccoli operation and traditional operation in patients with thyroid tumor. Methods From February 2014 to March 2015, 279 patients with thyroid tumor were selected. 148 cases underwent modified Miccoli operation. The other 131 cases underwent traditional operation. The operation time(50.6±11.2 vs 76.8±28.5 min),peri-operative blood loss(13.7±8.2 vs 43.1±19.8 ml),length of incision(2.3±0.3 vs 6.7±2.4 cm),post-operative drain(23.6±7.4 vs 60.4±16.8ml),complication(1.3%vs 7.6%)and post-operative stay(2.8±1.2 vs 4.4±1.6 d)in Miccoli operation group and traditional operation group were compared. Results Compared to the traditional operation group,the operation time,peri-operative blood loss、length of incision, post-operative drain、complication and post-operative stay in modified Miccoli operation group were less. Statistical dif erence was found in the two groups. Conclusion Modified Miccoli operation is a minimal invasive, quick recovery, safe and feasible operation and is worth the clinical promotion.关键词
