Near-infrared emission properties of Yb3+ ions sensitized by Cr3+ ions in YAG powder materials

摘要

Abstract

YAG∶0.02 Cr3+, yYb3+ powder samples are prepared by high temperature solid-phase reaction method in this paper .Near-infrared emission properties of these powder materials are investigated including e-mission properties of Cr 3+and Yb3+, luminescence lifetimes of Cr 3+∶4 T2 and Yb3+∶2 F5/2 and comparison of their population time.Optimal doping concentration of Yb3+(10%) is given.Experiments indicate that the broadband spectral conversion makes the Yb 3+∶2 F5/2→2 F7/2 radiation transition obtain a favorable increase a-round 1 000 nm by the efficient energy transfer from Cr 3+to Yb3+, which laids a solid foundation to enhance solar photovoltaic conversion efficiency .
